Occidental Lac Tunis

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Occidental Lac Tunis Hotel, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful, located in a quiet, pleasant area near a beautiful lake; it’s just a 10-minute ride from the airport and has excellent facilities. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. We would like to express our deepest thanks and heartfelt gratitude to Madam Lobna and Monsieur Amin from the reception team for their outstanding hospitality. They made sure we felt welcome right from the start… and had everything we needed. Their professionalism, friendliness, patience and excellent service added a personal touch to our trip, making us feel more at home. A special thank you to Madam Khawla and the restaurant team as well! The food was outstanding— delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Breakfast was a real highlight, offering a wide variety of options to suit every taste, and we appreciated the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff’s etiquette was truly remarkable - everyone was very friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed - contributing to a pleasant dining experience. Special thanks also to the housekeeping staff, particularly Madam Basma, and Fatima for their kindness, courtesy, hard work, and attention to detail. The overall service is excellent, with staff handling requests promptly. We highly recommend Occidental Lac Tunis to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Tunisia. We’ll definitely be returning!

The hotel was lovely and the staff very friendly, the break fast was very good and the hospitality of the catering supervisor Khawla was exceptional. Comfortable beds and nice shower. The chambermaids did a great job, probably among the best of any hotel I've stayed in. It seemed like new each day! Also really liked the location too, it was quiet but close enough to the main attractions.

•we had a fascinating stay at the hotel occidental •the front desk lobna was amazing, and she was so professional and took great of us, plus gave us all the advice needed during our stay. •the hotel is so clean and comfy. •breakfast was great with a lot of choices. •Do not hesitate to book this hotel if you are looking for all in one.

The rooms were very spacious, comfortable and clean. At one point the air conditioning in my room was too loud with the sound of water constantly running and staff did their best to find me another room without the same problem.
